This is a seriously heavy-duty textbook on leadership, that I studied as part of my Bachelor's degree - however, it is a book that has many relevant and interesting insights that are useful to people who are coming into leadership positions. While I will say that it tends to dissect leadership into component parts, and lay out a series of approaches to leadership (Authentic, Psychodynamic, Behavioral etc), for comparison, this method helps leaders and aspiring leaders to take pieces from multiple approaches, while still potentially gravitating towards what may work most naturally for them. Effectively adding different tools to your toolbox while also getting more proficient with your primary/most useful tool.
